Megan Hilsgen is a graduate of Falls High School in International Falls, Minnesota. She later moved to Bemidji, Minnesota where she began going to college and started working in the legal world as a legal assistant. Upon obtaining her degree in mid-2011, Megan moved to central Minnesota and continued working in the legal setting as a paralegal. In the past she has assisted attorneys that work in the areas of bankruptcy, real estate, probate, criminal law, juvenile law and family law. Through her working experience she has grown most fond of family law and continues to focus her paralegal skills in that area. She began working at Smith, Paulson, O’Donnell & Erickson, P.L.C., in May 2013 to assist our attorneys primarily in family law. She also assists our criminal defense and bankruptcy attorney.
In her free time, Megan stays busy with her husband and two growing sons enjoying outdoor adventures in the Northern Minnesota woods and camping with her family.
